Special features: year-round nature experiences
We're glad you're interested in our forest kindergarten! Your child should feel accepted and safe with us so that they can develop freely.
Playing in nature promotes children's mental, physical and cognitive development. It is a holistic support and brings us back to ourselves, especially in this day and age.
Special features and goals in forest kindergarten
- Movement
Children have a great need to move. Movement is a natural process to grow and perceive and create your surroundings.
In the forest kindergarten, the children have the opportunity to live out this need every day because this takes place unlimitedly and everywhere.
- Creativity
Nature offers children an inexhaustible amount of creativity to pursue and to express their impressions aesthetically and artistically. The “space” of nature makes it possible to create your own “world” in which you can let your imagination run wild without any major guidelines or fixed play material.
- Senses
All senses are stimulated and stimulated in nature.
We sensitize children to experience and explore the world attentively, mindfully and consciously.
“What does the leaf feel like, what does the earth smell like, see how the leaves change color and fall down, hear the woodpecker knocking, the jay warn, feel the sun's rays on the skin, how the beetle runs over your hand, the touch of a chestnut “How does the snow that falls from the sky taste?”
- Independence
We support the children as they grow up. Feeling when I have to go to the toilet, dressing and undressing myself, opening and closing my lunch box, carrying my own backpack, resolving conflicts, finding compromises, finding ways and solutions, keeping myself busy, finding my way into the game, fitting into a group.
- Environmental education
The children gain a positive emotional connection to nature as a basis for later responsible and conscious interaction with it. They feel responsible in the spirit of education for sustainable development. The children become sensitized to nature and gain insights into its connections. You perceive yourself as a small part of a larger whole and learn to appreciate and protect resources.
