The forest kindergarten is located in Naila at the Schellersanlage. A beautiful piece of forest land owned by the town of Naila offers a variety of spaces to experience, especially different young mixed forests.

A large, cozy construction trailer is available for intensification, small group work or in extreme weather conditions. The town of Naila provides a suitable shelter for dangerous weather events (e.g. storm warnings or very cold temperatures).

There are currently around 2000 forest kindergartens in Germany - one of which has been in Naila since September 2021. The special thing about this concept is that the children spend time outdoors in all weathers under pedagogical supervision. There is a kindergarten construction trailer on the premises for special weather conditions. They experience the forest as a habitat, discovering and conquering this environment piece by piece and experiencing nature with all their senses. 

The forest and nature are not only places of learning, they are also the ideal space for the children to exercise.

The children experience nature both as a space that offers experiences and as a protective space for their own development. 

Through this opportunity to develop their own opportunities for play and discovery, the children experience self-efficacy and are thus prepared for their later life under ideal conditions.

The tranquillity of nature and the associated concept offer an alternative for parents who value a holistic approach, relaxation and real development opportunities for their children.

We cooperate with the Bund Naturschutz Kreisgruppe Hof for environmental education and nature conservation support.
