Our forest kindergarten is located in a wonderful mixed forest right at the foot of the Weißenstein Tower. Its central location at the intersection of the districts of Hof, Bayreuth and Kulmbach makes it a real alternative for children from Münchberg, Gefrees, Marktleugast, Neuenmarkt, Wirsberg, Marktschorgast and, of course, Stammbach.

A large, cozy and heated mountain hut is available for intensification, small group work or in extreme weather conditions. For dangerous weather events (e.g. storm warnings or very cold temperatures), the market town of Stammbach provides a suitable shelter.

The special thing about the forest kindergarten concept is that the children spend time outdoors in all weathers under pedagogical supervision. They experience the forest as a habitat, discovering and conquering this environment piece by piece and experiencing nature with all their senses.                                                                                                                              The forest and nature are both places of learning and an ideal space for children to exercise.

Forest kindergarten children are less stressed, less ill and less injured.

They are more socially stable, more independent, more imaginative, more concentrated and more balanced.

The children experience nature both as a space that offers experiences and as a protected space for their own development. Through this opportunity to develop their own play and discovery possibilities, the children experience self-efficacy and are thus prepared for their later life under ideal conditions.

Our concept offers an alternative for parents who value a holistic approach, relaxation and real development opportunities for their children.
