Introduction/specifics
After lunch, the lunchtime supervision children have the opportunity to let off steam or relax in one of the sports and creative groups during their free time, whatever the weather. The focus here is on "free play" and "teaching the children to develop social skills" as well as "healthy eating & exercise". Individual skills promoted include a sense of responsibility, helpfulness, artistic and musical creativity, learning to learn, respect and consideration in dealing with other people, responsible use of the environment and natural resources, linguistic expression, body awareness, motor skills and physical expression.
Our staff monitor the physical, emotional, cognitive and social development of the children in order to provide individual support. The children are involved in decisions about the day-to-day running of the facility and the design of the rooms in line with their development. Fixed routines, clear rules and rituals serve to form the group and enable the individual and free development of each child.
The team works in partnership with the parents, who are primarily responsible for the children's upbringing. Regular communication with parents enables early recognition and, if necessary, intervention in development processes for the benefit of the children.
