Current information

Introduction/specifics

Our inclusive daycare center enables children with and without disabilities to grow up together. We accept every child with their own personal strengths and character traits and tailor our educational support and encouragement to their individual resources. This allows the children to develop freely and feel comfortable in their own skin.

We can care for up to 170 children aged 0-7 years.  The groups have a maximum of 15 children and are lovingly cared for by 2 to 3 educators (depending on the age group). A group unit consists of 2 adjacent groups that work as a team in this setting. Each child is part of a core group, has designated teachers, and has their own group rooms. At set times, the children can engage in cross-group play and explore the other functional rooms on their own initiative. From the start of nursery, the groups are largely made up of children of the same age and remain so until they start school.

The daycare center is currently undergoing extensive modernization and renovation.

Rooms

Each group has a main room and an adjoining room with an adjoining anteroom, which can be used, for example, as an exercise or construction room. The sanitary facilities and cloakroom are shared by two groups (one group unit). The rear building has a covered terrace that can be used all year round. The outdoor area includes a spacious playground for kindergarten-age children, which is ideal for romping around, playing hide-and-seek, and coordinating vehicles, among other things. The adjacent nursery playground offers our youngest children numerous opportunities to play in the fresh air, with its different floor coverings and small playhouses with different levels.

Food

Lunch is freshly prepared every day in our daycare kitchen.

We offer the children full board, from breakfast to lunch to afternoon snacks. A healthy, balanced diet is important to us. Special dietary requirements (e.g., lactose intolerance, pureed food) are always taken into account.

Basics

Our educators encourage and support children from a holistic perspective. At our facility, children with and without disabilities play and learn together naturally from day one.

Our guiding principle in our educational work is: “Help me to do it myself,” which comes from the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori.

In addition, we accompany the children from the settling-in period to school enrollment in consistent groups and, as a rule, with reliable, consistent reference educators (one educator and one special education teacher/special education specialist). This approach forms the main focus of our educational concept.
