Parental contributions for childcare services are socially graded. 

In addition, a monthly flat rate of €74 is charged for a healthy, warm lunch meal.

Families who are unable to cover the cost of lunch may apply for subsidies through the Education and Participation Package (Bildungs- und Teilhabepaket, BuT). This ensures that all children have access to a balanced midday meal, regardless of their parents’ financial circumstances.
