The OGS is a childcare program for children after lessons.

Children can be supervised until 4:00 p.m. (including lunch, homework support, and participation in extracurricular activities).

In cooperation with the City of Wipperfürth, the German Red Cross (DRK) has been offering the Open All-Day School as a supplementary school care program here since 2020.

Currently, the OGS at GGS Kreuzberg is attended by 25 children in one care group, aged 5 to 10 years.

The facility aims to create opportunities for experience for each individual child, taking into account their personal life situation and personality, and to accompany and support them on their learning journey.

Holiday Care

During school holidays and on movable vacation days, the OGS provides reliable continuous care from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Exception: The OGS remains closed for up to 5 working days during the Christmas holidays, the first week of the Easter holidays, and 3 weeks during the summer holidays, as well as on one OGS team day.

Parental Contributions

For participation in the Open All-Day Primary School, a parental contribution is charged by the City of Wipperfürth.

The amount of the parental contribution is based on the previous year’s gross annual income and is scaled according to the parents’ income brackets.

Lunch Costs

Lunch is a fixed component of the Open All-Day program and is therefore mandatory for all children.

The monthly lunch fee per child is €74.00. This amount also includes fruit, desserts, and beverages.
