Introduction/specifics

Welcome to KiKu!

Our KiKu Kinderland Tiengen is located in the middle of a quiet residential area. Downtown area, school and a river called "Wutach" are just a short walk away.

Our house provides place for 45 play school kids and 10 toddler care kids. Our team consists of 9 educators, 1 administration and 2 apprentices.

We are open from 7AM to 6 PM. Our minimum care takes place from 9AM to 1 PM.

We are closed from 24.12. up to and including  01.01.of the following year. In addition to two futher days we don`t have other closing times.

The funding organisation of our institution is located in Nürnberg and called "Kinderzentren Kunterbunt gGmbH" .

Our educational work is based on the individual child. Participation, co- contruction, inclusion an parental work are firmly established in our conception.The kids are included in all processes and have a right for co- determination, decision and complaint. That applies to the parents, too. 

We offer the children a rich breakfast buffet, lunch and afternoon snack.

We are working partially open. The morning circle takes place in the basic group. The rest of the day the kids have the option to play where they want to.
