The Sonnenschein daycare center is conveniently located in the Seehaus area of Plauen. We care for and accompany children aged 9 weeks to school age.

Our goal is to treat each child as an individual. We want to get to know your children, accompany and encourage them, and build a secure bond. The basis for learning is attachment. We see intensive parental involvement as one of the most important components of our work. We want to send confident, courageous, and curious children to school. We work toward this goal with great commitment and dedication from day one.

Our little ones are cared for in three nursery groups, each with three permanent teachers. Educational activities take place in small groups, tailored to the individual needs of the children.

The kindergarten children are divided into four groups. Three groups (the Wolf Pack, the Owl Children, and the Sun Children) are mixed-age groups ranging from three to five years old. Three permanent teachers learn, play, and accompany the children throughout the day. In the last year of kindergarten, the world explorers move to a separate area, where many exciting trips and experiences await the new school starters.

In the kindergarten area, we work in a partially open system. The children can move freely within their area. There are many stimulating materials available to them. Educational activities take place exclusively in small groups.

Our team consists of 24 educators, including a social pedagogue as head, a remedial therapist, two educators with additional qualifications in remedial education, and two practical instructors. A janitor, two kitchen service staff, and two household/cleaning staff support our facility.
