Welcome to the Märchenland daycare center!
We are a daycare center with a nursery and kindergarten. We are non-denominational and care for children from under 1 year of age until they start school.
The children are looked after by loving, state-approved educators who also have a variety of additional qualifications.
This is how we learn at Märchenland:
Our educational work is based on the Saxon education plan. The children's development is documented in words and pictures and evaluated annually with the parents in a meeting.
Playful learning activities take place daily in all groups. For our school starters, there are extra sugar bag lessons to prepare them for school.
Our children learn how to use modern media in a playful way through projects.
Throughout the year, we enjoy numerous celebrations and activities with fun and games.

Our educational work is based on the Saxon education plan. Holistic support, experiences involving all the senses and time for self-education processes are our priorities.
We place particular emphasis on language development, daily movement and good preparation for school.
Shared meals in our children´s restaurant, relaxing in the heat cabin, or working in the children´s workshop enable the children to enjoy an exciting and varied time at kindegarten.
Our large garden is divided into separate areas so that our youngest children can enjoy their own play area, designed to meet their needs.
Our kindergarten children have a wide range of opportunities to be active in the outdoor area. Swings, climbing frames, a trampoline, covered sandboxes and plenty of space for vehicles offer age-appropriate play options.
A water play area and shaded areas are also available for the summer.
Daily outdoor activities are a matter of course for us, regardless of age.
For our school beginners, school preparation takes place once a week. Here, the children are specifically prepared for the demands of school.
Writing exercises, set theory, fine motor skills development, first experiences with letters, and much more are offered during this time.
An interactive whiteboard with internet access is also available for children to take their first steps toward media literacy.
Meals at our kindergarten are provided on a full-board basis from VielfaltMenü.
All meals are eaten together by the groups in the children´s restaurant.
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are offered to the children as a buffet. Each children decides indepentently what foods they want to eat and how much of them.
