Our daycare center is a place where our children can live together, do crafts, play, exercise, sing, dance, paint, sometimes argue, sleep, listen, and talk. The children entrusted to us should feel at home here.

We care for children from the age of 1 until they start school. There are 11 groups in our center – 3 nursery groups and 8 kindergarten groups. The children's groups are looked after by 16 educational staff and a qualified social pedagogue.

The focus of our educational work is on the needs of the child. We support the children in their self-education process by providing them with a wide range of opportunities for active learning. Through their actions, children gain experience of their world and thus understand it. This acquisition of knowledge can vary greatly from child to child. Not every child deals with the same topic at the same time. With this in mind, every child should have access to all areas of the entire building. To this end, we have set up themed rooms in our building. This not only gives the children the opportunity to explore new things and get to know new materials, but also allows them to meet in different groups and interact with each other.

Music, dance, movement, singing, and creativity in working with materials are important parts of our lives. Music appeals to our senses. It activates both sides of the brain and spatial thinking. Movement to music makes the visible audible and the audible visible. In creative design, we can recognize the children's basic messages.

For this reason, we have decided on an artistic and musical profile. We offer children the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

• Creative children's dance (from 4 years of age – subject to a fee)
• Library

In order to expand our artistic and musical profile, we have entered into a cooperation with the Vogtland Conservatory. All kindergarten children participate in early music education once a week. The costs are covered by the parents and the daycare center. Participation costs €70.00 per calendar year.

In addition to these activities, all children have the opportunity to listen to music in their groups. They can play various instruments and learn new and old children's songs. At our traditional spring concerts, the children show their parents and relatives what they can do.
