Introduction/specifics
"die kleinen Krabben" are a day care centre in a rural location on the outskirts of Verl. Since January 2010, I have been looking after up to 5 children aged between 6 months and 3.5 years in my home. In the meantime, I have completed a 300-hour training course to become a childminder, as well as a distance learning course as a specialist in early childhood education. You can also find lots of information and pictures on my homepage or simply make an appointment to get to know me personally.
We have a large entrance area, a long corridor, a playroom and a bedroom. In the kitchen there is a table for the children with chairs or small high chairs.
Our garden is fenced off from the street. We have a swing, a sandpit, a slide and lots of other vehicles for romping and playing.
This is an overview of how a day with us can run. Structure is very important for children.
6:30 am - 8:00 am: Bring time and breakfast together
9:00 am - 11:00 am: Free play, open activities indoors and outdoors, excursions by bike
11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Lunch together
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm: midday rest
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm: snack together and free play, pick-up time
I cook the food fresh every day. The children have breakfast and lunch every morning and also fruit and vegetables, depending on the season, as a snack and with the meals.
