Introduction
Day care takes place in our own household on the lower floor in a very familiar and rural environment. In a small group of max. 5 children, each child is given the opportunity to develop individually.
Outdoor area
In our spacious garden, the children can play freely and explore their surroundings. We also grow strawberries and other types of fruit and vegetables together. We also have chickens, horses and a dog on our farm.
Rooms
On the lower floor of our house, the children have plenty of space to play. A specially equipped playroom offers toys, a cosy corner and a place to rest at lunchtime.
Meals
Meals are eaten together with my parents at the large dining table. The meals are freshly cooked. We also use a lot of organic or home-grown produce.
Daily routine
After all the children have arrived at 7:30 am, we set the table together for breakfast. Afterwards, the children can play and we get ready to go outside. We like to spend a lot of time outside, in the garden, in the yard or on walks through the extensive neighbourhood.
We eat lunch at around 11:30 am and then get ready for the afternoon nap.
We start the afternoon with a small snack.
Educational work
In addition to working with the children, we also work with the parents. Discussions with parents, craft afternoons (lanterns) or afternoon meetings (e.g. during Advent, playing in the garden, graduation party) offer space to exchange ideas and get to know each other.
Regular further training and first aid courses ensure good quality assurance. There are also regular meetings with other childminders to exchange ideas.
