Birds live happily and freely. They sing from morning till night. Singing makes the heart happy, content and grateful. It calms the mind even in times of sorrow and helps to carry heavy burdens. Cheerful children's songs accompany us through everyday life and give it structure. I also use singing as a ritual. It helps the children to quickly get used to our daily routine.

Birds live carefree lives and yet are cared for.

It is also my wish that the children feel comfortable and cared for with me. Like the mum bird, I also want to give my charges love, care and security. 

I believe in Jesus Christ and believe that God's word, the Bible, is the truth. It is my personal guideline in life and I like to orientate myself by it. I try to pass on these biblical values to my daycare children, e.g. helpfulness, consideration, friendly and kind behaviour, appreciation of the person and what they do or have created, forgiveness, saying thank you and being honest.

An example of the daily routine

08:00 - 09:00 Daycare children are brought in / door-to-door discussions with parents

09:00 - 09:30 Breakfast

09:30 - 10:30 Activities / educational programmes / free play

10:30 - 11:30 Possible appointments or walk to the playground / gymnastics or similar

11:30 - 12:30 Lunch

12:30 - 13:00 nap or daycare children are picked up

Otherwise, I try to work according to the children's pace and timetables.Children with special needsThe care of children with disabilities and limitations in the physical, emotional and mental area is one of the focal points of my day care.

I have been looking after children with developmental delays and other disabilities since October 2016.

All children need love and affection.I want to accommodate and help children with disabilities.

In this regard, I completed further professional training in 2018:"Specialist for pedagogical inclusion".
