Introduction/specifics
Children aged 2 to 4 meet in the playgroup to play and learn together. The playgroup offers gentle preparation for kindergarten, two mornings a week. The children learn to detach themselves from their parents and play in a group within the manageable framework of the club rooms. With a maximum of 12 children per group, the playgroup is a gentle introduction to the hustle and bustle of kindergarten.
The association gives parents an open insight into what goes on in the group and offers them opportunities to help shape the day-to-day running of the association. Unlike in kindergarten, where the teachers take care of almost everything on their own, parental involvement is an essential component of ‘Parents for Children’. Together with our teachers, you take on parental duties in the playgroups and experience your child up close in the group. We play, sing, have breakfast and do handicrafts, and in good weather we always go outside. Are the parents unable to take on any duties? Let others do it for you!
The club room can be rented by active members.
The organisation is financed by parents' contributions, club fees and donations, by grants from the town of Verl and by numerous club activities.
