Introduction/specifics

The kindergarten in Zöbingen is the only municipal kindergarten in the community of Unter Schneidheim. It consists of three groups in which children between the ages of 2 and 6 are cared for. We work in core groups and carry out cross-group activities several times a year. The kindergarten Zöbingen is located on the edge of the settlement area, surrounded by meadows, fields and forest. The kindergarten has a large play garden and the gymnasium and community hall directly adjacent. The catchment area of the kindergarten also includes the surrounding villages of Walxheim and Wöhrsberg. Zöbingen itself offers a wide range of sports and clubs for families, has its own primary school and a good infrastructure.

Our focus:

Our daily kindergarten work is based on the Baden-Württemberg orientation and education plan.

• Through our project work, which is based on the seasons and the interests, situations and needs of the children, various topics and content are conveyed and brought closer to the children. This is done through targeted activities with the entire group, small groups or through individual support. The focus should be on learning with fun and enjoyment.

• Developmental situations, strengths and weaknesses of the children are recognized through observation and documentation, individual conclusions are drawn for each child and appropriate support measures are initiated. These observations also form the basis for regular discussions with parents and, if necessary, discussions with specialist services.

• We also attach great importance to good cooperation between the parents and the kindergarten. We offer regular parents' evenings, conduct development talks, door talks and angel talks and celebrate festivals together throughout the year.
