Daily Schedule
Arrival and Greeting Phase
Between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m., children have the opportunity to arrive at the facility. During this time, they and their parents are warmly greeted and welcomed by an educational specialist in the entrance area. Parents can provide important information to the receptionist (e.g., changes to pickup arrangements). Parents may accompany their children to their designated group, facilitating a smooth transition from home to the facility.
Breakfast Between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m., children can have breakfast in the bistro. They have the option to consume their own packed snacks and enjoy the abundant selection of fruits and vegetables provided by the daycare. If needed, educational specialists in the bistro assist the children and prepare breakfast for those in full-day care.
Morning Circle
After a safe arrival and a brief play period, children are signaled to gather for the morning circle. The morning circle is a daily ritual that allows children to start the day together. The group, led by educational specialists, discusses the date, season, and sings songs together. Individual needs and wishes of the children are addressed daily. At the end of the morning circle, children are prepared for the upcoming day, including discussing planned activities.
Free Play
During free play, children have the opportunity to play in their familiar group room and rotate to other areas as agreed upon. Changing rooms allows children to meet friends from other groups and engage in collaborative play. Educational specialists provide various learning opportunities during free play. Small group work, projects, play ideas, preschool projects, and language programs can be incorporated into free play. This phase allows educational specialists to conduct targeted developmental observations.
Concept Kindergartens Abenteuerland & Hölderlinstraße Untereisesheim Offers and Impulses
Through regular observations during free play, impulses can be planned and implemented in age-homogeneous or heterogeneous small groups. These include the areas of education: thinking, language, emotions, senses/perception, movement, and motor skills.
Tidying Up Phase
Children are signaled by an educational specialist or cleanup song that tidying time is beginning. With support from the educational specialists, children tidy up independently. Collaborative tidying strengthens the sense of community.
Movement Phase
Depending on the situation, movement activities take place in the garden or on the rooftop terrace. There are diverse movement opportunities indoors and outdoors. The hall also provides ample space for movement. The goal is for children to satisfy their need for movement and promote their motor skills. Regular walks and excursions also provide opportunities for exploration in the surrounding area.
Lunch
A communal lunch takes place every day. Lunch is not served until all children have unpacked their snacks so that a communal table blessing can be said. We emphasize communal lunch as we aim to promote social structures and communication among the children.
Pick-Up Phase
During the pick-up phase, all children gather at the designated meeting point after getting dressed and sing farewell songs with the educational specialists. Important information from the daycare can be communicated to parents during brief discussions.
