Rooms

Our house consists of three interconnected buildings.
Each group has a group room with a side room.
In the old building (House 1), we have an experiment room in which various experiments arouse the children's curiosity. This room is also available for Zahlenland, cooperation and other special activities.
The full-day children in the Ü3 area eat together in the dining room.
Various quiet activities, such as storytelling and listening to fairy tales, can take place in small groups or with individual children in the so-called language development room.
After lunch, the full-day children can rest or sleep in the sleep room.
Creativity can be explored in our open studio in the middle building (House 2).
This is also where our popular exercise room is located, where the groups regularly do sport activities and the children can pursue their urge to move during free play time.
In our newest building (House 3), in addition to an Ü3 group, there are also two toddler groups who use a specially built and equipped exercise room.

Outdoor Facilities

The outdoor area of our kindergarten is divided into two areas, the toddler garden and the "big" garden, which offers a wide range of activities with a great stock of trees.

Our youngest children can move freely in the toddler garden.

In both garden areas, the corresponding groups of children can move freely and slide, play with sand, climb, swing, ride various vehicles and much more.

In the "big kids'" garden, there are also a trampoline, horizontal bars and a boat for "sailing around the world". The outdoor area is furthermore a paradise for children with plenty of space to run around, play ball games and a small forest.

Daily Schedule

In all groups, it is important to us that the children have time to arrive at their group in peace in the morning.

From 9.15 a.m., the Ü3 groups open, i.e. the children are allowed to move freely around the house and garden alone or in small groups after consultation with one of the nursery teachers.

From the time they arrive until the group-internal morning circle or joint activity, the Ü3 children are free to choose their snack time. The children in the toddler groups eat their brought-along breakfast together.

Weather permitting, it is important to us that all children can still enjoy garden time and therefore they all go out into the fresh air after the morning circle/communal activity.

Food

Lunch for our full-day children is delivered hot by the caterer K5 from Salem. They cook balanced, seasonal and regional meals. We have the option of ordering "Muslim" or "allergy" food on request.

In the U3 area, the children eat in their usual group room at around 11.30 am.

The children from the kindergarten go to the dining room at around 12.00 noon to eat their lunch there. The children are given the opportunity to try everything and then decide what they want more of and how much of it they want. During the shared meal, the children can pour water into their own glasses using the jugs provided.
