We are a regular kindergarten consisting of two mixed-age groups (the blue group and the green group).

We can care for up to 45 children (5 places are reserved for 2-year-olds) aged 2 to 6 years or until they start school.

The blue group can accommodate up to 25 children aged 3-6. The green group can accommodate up to 15 children aged 3-6 and up to 5 children aged 2-3.

Opening hours

Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

(Pickup at 12:00 p.m. or flexible pickup between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. possible)

Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Rooms

The kindergarten has two group rooms (blue group and green group).

The rooms are equipped with a wide range of play materials for the children. There is a doll corner, a building corner, a book corner, a painting and writing area, a toy shop, and tables for board games, threading games, and construction games.

Adjacent to the blue group, there is a small gym where children can burn off their energy. Adjacent to the green group is a small room with a variety of play options for older children.

The kindergarten has a large entrance hall that can be used for gymnastics and exercise activities, for the daily morning circle involving all groups, as a cloakroom, and for parents' evenings. There is a kitchenette and a small separate breakfast area attached to this space. The office and a storage room are also located adjacent to the hall.

We have five toilets in the bathroom area. There is also a shower. The laundry room has six sinks and a spacious changing area where each child who wears diapers has their own drawer with their own supplies.

Outdoor Facilities

The kindergarten's large outdoor area offers a wide range of play options for gymnastics, romping around, climbing, swinging, playing in the sand, and exploring.

The old trees provide fabulous protection from the sun in summer.

Daily Schedule

Our daily routine

From 7:30 a.m. Kindergarten begins

(all children should be present by 8:45 a.m. at the latest)

First free play time

(free choice of playing partner, playing materials, playing time, and course of play)

Morning circle

(All children and teachers meet in the entrance hall to discuss current events and sing songs,

play finger games, etc. related to the current topic.)

Breakfast together in groups

(The children find a seat, arrange their food and drinks, and we say grace. They eat the breakfast they have brought from home.)

Second free play period

(free choice of play partner, play materials, play duration, and play sequence)

Tidying up

(Each child finishes their game and tidies up the game materials.)

Educational offerings

(The teachers offer the children activities related to the educational areas of the BW orientation plan on the current topic, usually in small groups.)

Fruit/vegetable break

(a shared break during which everyone can eat the fruit/vegetables they have brought with them).

Third free play time

(This takes place either in the garden, on a walk, or in the group room. During this time, we also offer creative activities at the craft table.)

12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. Second pick-up time

(Children can be picked up flexibly between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. at the kindergarten.)

Food

Breakfast together:

The children wash their hands before eating and set their place at the table with a plate, cutlery, and drink. They can choose who they want to sit next to. We value a pleasant atmosphere and cleanliness at the table. Important conversations often take place between the children in this cozy setting.

The children bring their food from home, and we place great importance on healthy eating. Drinks (mineral water and still water) are always available to the children. We also offer tea on a regular basis. We take regular “drink breaks” with the children during the day.

Projects

sow, plant, tend, harvest

Through regular gardening, we want to give children the opportunity to get to know and appreciate nature better. Gardening offers a wealth of sensory experiences. Children can explore the different textures, smells, and tastes of plants and soil. They learn about the cycle of life, from seed to fruit, and understand what plants need to grow. Children also gain an insight into where some of our food comes from and how much effort goes into producing it. Whether potatoes, strawberries, carrots, cucumbers, melons, or herbs, we plant many different things.

Of course, we eat and process the delicacies we grow ourselves.
