Current information

Introduction/specifics

Our kindergarten is located at the entrance to Baiereck, in an old school building. The kindergarten is situated in a quiet, natural setting in the Nassach Valley, nestled between meadows, forests, and fields.

The facility has two mixed-age groups for children between the ages of 2 and 6 and is open for 6 hours a day.

Children with special needs and mental and physical disabilities are taken into consideration and are part of our kindergarten groups if the given conditions and framework conditions can meet the children's needs.

Rooms

The kindergarten has space for two kindergarten groups, the red group and the yellow group.

The groups are located on the ground floor and share a hallway area. Here, each child has a designated coat rack where they can store their slippers and a change of clothes.

Both group rooms can be flexibly arranged and are furnished and adapted with furniture and different play areas depending on the situation.

The group rooms are connected by an adjoining room with a kitchenette at child height, which is used by both groups as a creative room or for small group work, among other things.

The Red Group's room is slightly larger, as it can accommodate up to 22 children, while the Yellow Group can accommodate a maximum of 18 children.

Adjacent to the yellow group is an adjoining room, which serves as a sleeping and quiet room for our youngest children. Quieter activities, such as picture books or role-playing games, are also possible here when no children are sleeping. This room is available to both groups.

Washrooms with children's toilets and sinks are available for both groups and accessible to the children from the shared hallway.

There is also a nappy-changing room with a changing table, children's toilet, and shower.

In the basement of the facility, there is a small gym with a variety of equipment such as mats, balls, benches, etc.

On the upper floor, there is an office for the kindergarten management and staff.

Outdoor Facilities

The kindergarten has a natural area around the building as well as paved and tarred areas.

We mainly use the tarred area in front of our entrance to draw with sidewalk chalk or race around on our vehicles.

The kindergarten also has a large garden area.

There are two sandboxes, a water pump, a nest swing, a seesaw, and a construction trailer.

In our garden shed, the children will find numerous play materials such as sand toys and doll carriages.

All of the play equipment and toys are designed to be equally accessible and usable for all kindergarten children.

Daily Schedule

Our day begins with a flexible arrival time until approximately 8:45 a.m. During this time, the children are welcomed by qualified staff in their respective groups.

During the arrival time, the children have the opportunity to settle into the kindergarten routine through free play or take on a small task for individual development.

To start the day together, each group holds a daily morning circle. We sing, play, and discuss together. We create space for rituals, stories, questions, and conversations.

Afterwards, there is time for breakfast together, free play, educational activities, and nature. The situational approach is at the forefront here, and we pay attention to the children's needs.
