Introduction/specifics

A total of 132 children are cared for in our daycare center in Twist-Siedlung.

The groups are composed as follows:

• Green group: regular group with 25 children
• Red group: Integration group with 18 children (3 or 4 children with special needs)
• Yellow group: regular group with 25 children
• Blue group: Full-day group with 25 children
• Colorful group: small group with 10 children
• Rainbow group: crèche group with 15 children (age 1-3 years)
• Kunterbuntgruppe: crèche group with 15 children (age 1-3 years)

Daily Schedule

Our facility offers early care.

Daily schedule kindergarten:

• early care from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• at 08:30 the morning circles begin in the groups, approx. until 09:00
• from 09:00 a.m. breakfast is served together in the groups
• from 09:45 am to 11:15 am our free play takes place. Here the children have the possibility to play everywhere (other groups, gym, studio and outside).
• from 11:30 a.m. lunch is served. The children who do not participate in lunch have a small "juice break" in the group (they drink and eat a snack).
• then they play and finish with a circle at noon.
• at 13:00 the children are picked up.
• In the full-day group, care is available until 16:00.
• Late care is offered from 13:00 to 14:00 in the kindergarten.

Daily schedule nursery:

• early care from 07:30 a.m. to 08:00 a.m.
• at 08:30 the morning circles begin in the groups
• from 09:00 o'clock breakfast is taken together
• after breakfast the children play, do activities or go for a walk
• from 11:30 a.m. lunch is served
• after lunch there is time to play again
• at 13:00 the children are picked up.

Basics

In our daycare center, we want to accept everyone - children and adults alike - as they are in their uniqueness, with their strengths and weaknesses, hopes and wishes. In our daycare center there are different living and experience spaces. It is important for us to awaken curiosity in the children entrusted to us, to help them find answers and to encourage them in their holistic development according to their talents.

We see our nursery as well as our kindergarten as a family-supporting institution.

We want to live up to our Christian mission by addressing the reality of families' lives and creating appropriate offerings.

Teamwork with parents

The cooperation with parents is an important part of our facility.

Parent meetings are held regularly and parents regularly receive information from the facility via the daycare app.

Furthermore, a parents' committee is elected, which meets regularly to discuss concerns, celebrations and the like.
