Tuningen Family Centre
The Tuningen Family Centre is a nine-group facility run by the municipality of Tuningen.
It offers a network to provide families with comprehensive advice and support. This includes services for children, parents and families with easily accessible support and encouragement. This place of education and experience is linked to neighbourhood life contexts. It works according to the Infans concept, which strengthens the children in their interests and topics.
Further aims are:
- Parents should actively support their children's education and development processes
- Participation of children, parents and staff in the social environment
- Support in balancing family and career
- Health prevention
- Guidance for insecure parents
- Support for families affected by separation and divorce
- Support for families with problems due to flight or migration
- Opening up to the social environment (cooperation)
- Needs-oriented offers in the changing annual programme (education, advice, support)
- Encounters and community life
- Quality assurance
The family centre consists of three departments that are closely networked and cooperate on a daily basis:
Early childcare with four groups Schulstraße 8 (opening hours: 7:00-13:00)
Kindergarten with three groups Schulstraße 8 (opening hours: 7:00-13:00)
All-day care with an all-day group (opening hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00-16:00 and Friday 7:00 - 14:00, with various options) and a VÖ group (opening hours: 7:00-13:00) Schulstraße 17.
