Dear families,
The "Teltower Rübchen" day-care centre has 100 places for children aged 9 weeks to school age. Our centre works according to the principles of elementary education with a focus on early visual education (art and creativity).
The principles include the six areas of education (performance/ design, body/ movement/ health, language, music, maths/ natural sciences and social life).
Our outdoor area offers many play opportunities for every age group. The children also have lots to discover. In spring, for example, squirrels visit us almost every day.
At our centre, the children receive a full range of meals, i.e. breakfast, lunch and snacks. It is important to us to ensure a healthy and balanced diet. We follow the guidelines and the latest findings of the "German Nutrition Society". These are incorporated into an 8-week meal plan for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

We also offer the children sports activities in the Jahnsporthalle in Teltow and early music education with a trained music teacher. All programmes take place weekly and are free of charge.
In our weekly project, "Colour Week", a different colour was the theme every day of the week. The children could come dressed in the colour. In addition, there were activities each day that dealt with the respective colours.
