Basics
The wide age range enables constant care over many years. This allows mutual trust to grow between the families and the educational staff, thus creating a feeling of safety, security and familiarity for the children. This stability can be a great support for the child, especially at the time of starting school, which is associated with many new impressions and demands. Due to the mixture of all age groups and the open work, not only long-term friendships among the children are possible; also the reference person within the facility accompanies the child over many years and can thus continuously shape the development and individual support.
The focus of the pedagogical work is a relationship with the child that is characterised by appreciation, which puts the individual resources and abilities of the children in the foreground and attentively introduces and accompanies the next developmental step oriented towards the child.
For the after-school children, there is homework supervision that is tailored to the child and individually supervised.
Intensive cooperation between the educational staff and the families, especially the parents, is another important element in the daily work.
