Introduction/specifics

The Caritas Kindergarten at the BBZ Stegen is a regular kindergarten with 12 places, which has an intensive co-opertation with the school kindergarten of the SBBZ. Children without and with special needs are cared under one roof. One focus of the facility is the clear weekly structure. There is a weekly forest day, a sports day/swimming day, targeted activities in functional rooms and daily play in the outdoor area. The children playfully learn sign language as a supportive means of communication in everyday life.

The Caritas Association for the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district runs the kindergarten. The facility is located on the grounds of the SBBZ Stegen.

Basics

Children without and children with special needs are cared for together under one roof, by an interdisciplinary team.

The focus is on a clear and transparent daily and weekly structure for the children.

Activities and routines are visualised and accompanied by sign language.

It is important to us to live and experience difference and diversity, as well as to show consideration for the particularities and individual needs of each child.
