Introduction/specifics
We named the new AWO family house based on Astrid Lindgren's story of Pippi Longstocking in Taka Tuka Land.
With Villa Kunterbunt just around the corner and the Hoppetosse day care center on Mühlenstrasse, the Pippi Longstocking trilogy is complete, so to speak.
The children in these stories are always full of adventure, experience the craziest stories and: they do it together: Pippi doesn't really fit in with the other children, but they get to know and respect each other and then have a lot of fun together and especially these differences: there the sheltered siblings Tommi and Annika and here Pippi who has to struggle through life on her own make up the attraction. Together they experience adventures, face dangers and gain a wealth of experience.
We hope that the children can also experience a lot of adventures with us, learn new things and develop in contact with children of other ages. We would like to accompany them on the various stages of their journey on the way to growing up.
The offer is aimed at children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years. The special thing about the AWO family house: the children are no longer divided according to age groups, but are cared for and supported in family groups together with children from other age groups.
These family groups allow both younger and older children to expand their range of experiences and learning.
The new premises with relaxation rooms, kitchen and various creative and multi-purpose rooms make it possible to work in small groups, across groups or in the core group in the new AWO family house.
The aim is to do justice to each individual child and to support the children according to their level of development.
