Rooms

Our nursery offers children plenty of space to develop, explore and shape their everyday lives together. Bright, spacious group rooms with child-friendly furnishings invite children to play, do crafts and learn. Each room is lovingly designed and tailored to the needs of children, with quiet areas, creative spaces and lots of exciting materials to try out.

Our large entrance hall offers space for movement, music and joint celebrations. Here, the children can romp, dance or let their energy run free.

Outdoor Facilities

Our spacious outdoor area is a central part of everyday life at the nursery and offers the children a wide range of opportunities to play, discover and run around every day. Here they can satisfy their urge to move around, experience nature with all their senses and explore the world independently in a safe environment.

We attach particular importance to a natural design: shrubs, trees and meadows not only provide shade and places to retreat, but also create habitats for insects and birds. This allows the children to experience first-hand how nature changes throughout the seasons.

Our outdoor area is an important place for learning and experiencing new things in all weathers. Well equipped, we go outside even when it rains, because we know that there is no such thing as bad weather, only exciting adventures!

Employee

Three educational specialists work in each group at our nursery school.

Teamwork with school

Our nursery school works closely with Meyenburg Primary School. A shared educational approach and joint planning of the transition are extremely important for the positive development of each individual child. The teaching staff at the school and nursery school regularly exchange ideas about the educational concepts of both institutions.

Particularly in the last year of kindergarten, activities and projects are organised together with the school to facilitate the transition to school:

  • Weekly school visits with joint lessons in a class
  • Joint break in the school playground
  • A joint project week
  • Primary school buddies to accompany the children

When they start school, the children are already familiar with the teachers and the school building, so they can quickly find their feet in their new environment.

Furthermore, we have developed a preschool programme in close cooperation with the school to strengthen the children in all areas of development for school.
