Introduction/specifics

We are a small kindergarten (one group with max. 25 children) with the opportunity to support the children individually in smaller groups. Our team of five trained nurses is dedicated to the well-being and optimal development of each individual child.

Good to know:

As we are a private association organized as a parents' initiative without a church or municipal sponsor, the facility lives from the support of its members. This support includes all the work that needs to be done, from administration and cleaning the toys to repairs in the house and looking after the garden. Each family has a parental task to fulfill and should actively contribute to the life of the association. As several mothers or fathers usually join forces, the task is completed quickly and with fun. These assignments also strengthen the bond between the families, which is reflected in the cheerful, familiar atmosphere of the kindergarten.

Daily Schedule

In social interaction, it is important to us to respond to the experiences and needs of our children and to incorporate these into our daily routine.

07:30 - 8.45 a.m. Bring time

07:30 - 9:30 Free play time and tidying up together (during this time, a movement construction site is offered in the gym)

09:30 - 09:45 a.m. Morning circle (welcome and start of the day together)

9:45 - 10:30 a.m. Snack together

10:30 - 12:30 Educational activities in small groups (Bears 3-4 years, Vixens 4-5 years and Giraffes 5-6 years)

12:30 p.m. Lunch circle with final song and first pick-up time

12:40 - 13:00 Lunch together

from 13:00 Lunch break (quiet play, then free play inside or outside)

13:30 - 15:00 Pick-up times depending on booking (Fridays until 14:00)

Our times are approximate and can be flexibly adapted to the needs of the children.

Food

Breakfast and drinks are brought to the kindergarten by the parents.

Unsere Philosophie

Eine rundum glückliche Kindergartenzeit

Gerade die ersten Jahre sind in der Entwicklung Ihres Kindes enorm wichtig! Dabei stehen bei uns zwei Dinge im Vordergrund: eine glückliche Kindheit und die optimale Vorbereitung auf den Schuleinstieg.

Dementsprechend sehen wir unsere Aufgabe darin, diesen ersten Schritt in eine strukturierte Gemeinschaft für Ihr Kind möglichst liebevoll zu gestalten. Wir holen Ihr Kind an dem Stand seiner Entwicklung ab, an dem wir es kennen lernen und versuchen ganz individuell, auf seine Persönlichkeit einzugehen. Die vergleichsweise kleine Anzahl der Kinder in unserer Einrichtung wirkt dabei besonders in der Eingewöhnungszeit natürlich sehr vorteilhaft. Aber auch zur Vorbereitung auf den Schuleinstieg ermöglicht die geringe Anzahl von Kindern eine intensive Arbeit mit den Vorschülern und individuelle Förderung des Einzelnen. Auch durch diese Vertrautheit steht die Schwabacher Kinderstube für eine glückliche Kindergartenzeit in einer vertrauten und familiärer Atmosphäre.

News

Tuesday is our work day

Our self-made “Werkel” sign is outside the door and you can hear from afar that the children are busy with hammers and other tools.

Early on, our children have the opportunity to experiment with different materials (wool, nails, balls, straws) and of course with different tools (hammer, file, hand borer, etc.) on a wooden log in the group room.

During the craft day, we also offer specific activities where the children can practise their craft skills.

Colorful afternoon (Tue 14-16h)

”1,2,3 at a rapid pace, all the children go along to the colorful afternoon, because it may bring us great things”

Our program is “colorful” in the sense of diverse: eventful movement offers and sensory experiences, creative work, singing and accompaniment with instruments and much more. Exciting movement activities and sensory experiences, creative work, singing and instrumental accompaniment play a major role in line with the kindergarten's framework plan. Of course, the children's strengths, ideas and needs are always at the forefront.

Overview

We have no fixed admission criteria, but as we are a parents' initiative, our kindergarten thrives on the involvement and contribution of parents. All families take on fixed tasks (e.g. board / finances, garden & decoration, janitor, tidying and cleaning up, community activities and festivals, hygiene, occupational safety, technology & homepage, purchasing, data protection, public requirements, Christmas market...).

Description and Stations

Schwabacher Kinderstube e.V. is located at Alexanderstraße 7a, a quiet side street near the city center.

Directions:

From Südliche Ringstraße, turn into Schillerstraße between Luitpoldschule and Sparda Bank. At the crosswalk, turn left into Alexanderstraße. After approx. 50 meters, turn right into a small cul-de-sac. You will now see our colorful kindergarten directly in front of you. A warm welcome!
