Children experience nature and the environment with all their senses. It is important to us that the children get to know animals and plants in their natural habitat, for example in the forest. In this way, they develop an appreciation and appreciation of themselves, others and nature. We introduce the children to the topic of "healthy eating" in an age-appropriate way by baking, cooking and eating a healthy breakfast together.
Settling-in period:
The settling-in period is individual to each child and is planned in consultation with the parents. In our experience, most children feel comfortable without their parents for several hours after just two weeks.

Drop-off and pick-up times:
A regulated daily routine gives the child stability and security and thus creates a trusting environment. We therefore ask parents to keep to the drop-off and pick-up times out of consideration for their child and the group.
Morning circle:
Every day we sit down with the children for our "morning circle". We greet each other with a song,
count the children, keep the calendar, play circle games, sing together and much more.
Free play:
Free play is very important to us because it helps the child to deal with what is currently occupying, stressing or interesting them. The group room design is specially geared to the needs of the children and the range of activities on offer is much greater than at home. Free play offers children the opportunity to find themselves and interact with others, to develop self-confidence and to practise ways of making contact and overcoming conflicts. We support the children in this with a variety of orientation aids. Children gain essential social experience through play. Free play also offers teachers the opportunity to encourage and observe individual children (unnoticed).
