Introduction/specifics

Educational concept of our daycare centre

In our daycare centre, we follow a situation-oriented, Montessori-inspired concept that offers the children plenty of space for free education and individual development. We believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in their environment and can discover things for themselves.

A central component of our approach is nature-based education. We spend time outdoors every day to explore nature and sharpen the children's senses. Through a variety of outdoor activities, we not only promote physical development, but also an awareness of ecological relationships.

We also attach great importance to craftsmanship. In our creative workshops, the children have the opportunity to experiment with different materials and realise their own ideas. This not only stimulates their creativity, but also promotes motor skills and problem-solving abilities.

Another important aspect of our educational work is language education. We have a specialised language support worker who provides targeted support for children with language deficits. Through individualised support measures and targeted language games, we help the children to expand their vocabulary and strengthen their communicative skills. We also use stories, songs and dialogues to create a stimulating environment in which all children can learn through play.

We also offer musical education as an integral part of our programme. Once a week, a specialist from the music school comes to us to encourage the children to sing, make music and dance. These musical activities not only support language development, but also social interaction and the children's sense of rhythm.

We encourage the children to explore and experiment. Through targeted projects and questions, we create an environment in which curiosity is awakened and the children can learn through play. Our aim is to create a loving and stimulating learning environment in which every child can fulfil their curiosity and develop at their own pace.

Daily Schedule

7:15 - 10:30 a.m.: Arrival, free play, and free breakfast
The children arrive at daycare and have the opportunity to play and interact with their friends in a relaxed environment. During this time, they can help themselves to breakfast and enjoy it. Free activities are available.

10:30 - 11:00 a.m.: Educational Activity
During this time, the children participate in targeted educational activities that stimulate their curiosity and develop various skills. The focus is on creative, language, and motor skills.

11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Out into the garden or for a walk
The children spend time outdoors—whether in the garden, on a walk in the neighborhood, or in the forest. These activities promote physical activity and an awareness of nature. We go outside in all weather conditions, so the children definitely need weather-appropriate clothing.

12:30 - 1:00 p.m.: Group Lunch
After an active morning, all children gather for lunch. We value a pleasant atmosphere during this time.

From 1:00 p.m.: Free Activity
After lunch, the children have the opportunity to play freely, depending on the weather – either indoors at the kindergarten or outside in the garden. Pick-up time begins at the same time!
