Current information

Introduction/specifics

The daycare groups at our Sonnenschein daycare center take their names from the well-known and already filmed picture book "Friends" by Helme Heine: "Dicke Waldemar", "Franz von Hahn", "Johnny Mauser", "Wolke Schaf", "Tante Mu", "Kätzle" and "Entle". 122 children in five groups aged 3 to 6 and 20 children in two groups aged 1 to 3 are cared for, supported and educated at our center.

Our employees

  • are state-approved educators, nursery nurses or have a pedagogical post-qualification
  • have taken part in the curriculum (implementation of the educational mission in childcare facilities) for the orientation plan and regularly undergo further training.
  • are fixed reference persons for the children and thus offer the children a manageable environment.
are enriched by trainees, interns and pupils.
  •  are complemented by a housekeeper in the kitchen area, a room attendant, a janitor and a janitor.

Outdoor Facilities

There are 2 outdoor play areas around our house for the 3-6 year old children and a separate outdoor area for the 1-3 year old children in the crèche (approx. 900 m² in total).
The outdoor play area offers the children plenty of opportunities for free movement with hills, sand play areas, a climbing tower, slide and a large hammock.

A paved area allows the children to practise on a variety of vehicles, which are stored together with the sand toys in our material houses.

We also offer the children everyday materials such as tires, tubes and boards for free play.

This ensures that they can play with both changeable and solid materials.

Basics

Pedagogical concept - Objectives and pedagogical implementation

Help me to do it myself...

The aim of our work is to support children in their independence and initiative and to strengthen the child's love of learning.
We work according to the situation-oriented approach, which aims to meet the child with all its needs and interests in the here and now. Every child is unique and comes to us with basic skills and personal characteristics. We want to develop and strengthen these "basic skills".

Our educational goals are

To provide a prepared environment in which children feel comfortable and secure and which at the same time promotes the joy of learning and social interaction. For us, promoting independence means helping the children to help themselves, to learn social skills and a sense of responsibility, to develop creativity, sensory education for differentiated perception of themselves and others, movement to promote gross and fine motor skills and to experience religion as part of a community.

The legal mandate: KJHG, Daycare Center Act

We work according to the orientation plan of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.

The orientation plan can be seen as a kind of "compass" for daycare centers, the educational plans give us orientation and are intended to create the basis for early and individual talent-based support for children.

The first years of life and kindergarten age are the most learning-intensive time in human existence. Educational work in kindergartens is a central task.

The educational, training and care mandate encompasses every child, regardless of their individual starting conditions and prerequisites. Daycare facilities are called upon to ensure full participation in all areas for all children.

In "all areas" also includes the holistic education of children. To this end, the

orientation plan specifies six areas of education and development:

    Body
    senses
    language
    Thinking
    Feeling and compassion
    Sense, values and religion
