Introduction/specifics
Dear readers,
Our diverse daycare work is difficult to put into a short, clear and written form. Many thoughts, experiences and discussions are reflected in our concept.
A child's time at nursery and kindergarten is a very formative time in their life.
This includes arriving, being there and saying goodbye. Each of these developmental stages requires individual support from us adults.
Through our work, we want to offer the children the best possible opportunities for development throughout their time at the crèche/kindergarten.
The Catholic daycare center “Unterm Regenbogen” as a place of educational work
At our daycare center, we have developed an open concept with meeting groups. The children can move freely around the facility and decide for themselves what, where and with whom they want to do something.
They are perceived as being responsible for their own actions and thus become active participants in the kindergarten.

Children should play more than many children do these days.
Because if you play enough when you are little, you carry treasures with you,
that you can draw on throughout your life.
Then you know what it means to have a warm, secret world inside you that gives you strength,
when life becomes difficult. Whatever happens, whatever you experience,
you have this world inside you that you can hold on to. (Astrid Lindgren)
