Introduction/specifics
A friendly and appreciative attitude among all persons employed in our facilities—towards one another as well as towards children, families, and guests—is one of our most important principles. It is the key to an atmosphere that makes our institution special and conveys a sense of being welcome, security, and appreciation.
All children from the age of one until they start school are welcome here! The foundation of our educational concept is the Thuringian Educational Plan for children up to 18 years of age.
What sets us apart:
Unique in our region is our canine-assisted educational program: since April 2021, Gino, our kindergarten companion dog, has been a valued friend to our children. Voluntary and regular contact with a dog can have a positive impact on all areas of a child’s development. He also complements our language development concept, which we have been successfully implementing since 2011 with the support of various federal programs.
Another special feature is our two buildings: children up to around 3 years of age attend House 1. On the ground floor, everything is designed for our youngest children. The gentle transition into this new stage of life is the central focus here.
On the upper floor, new opportunities open up for children to develop freely. Here, they can choose between different functional rooms in an open setting. Children from both areas can gradually expand their play space and motor skills in three individually designed gardens.
For children aged 3 and up, House 2 offers many new opportunities to develop until they are ready for school. Here, children largely decide for themselves how and where they want to structure their daily routine. Both the building and the outdoor area are especially open and spacious. Since June 2025, children have been able to experience nature and music in harmony in our self-designed Sound Garden.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child!
