Introduction/specifics
Our daycare center is equipped in such a way that it offers the children a variety of opportunities for experience and they can explore and experiment together. We support them in this and give impulses so that the children can find answers to their questions as independently as possible. This is encouraged through projects and play situations that span the group.
The coexistence of children with and without disabilities in the sense of inclusion characterizes our daily interaction. Each child is seen individually and supported according to his or her abilities.
In our facility, disabled and non-disabled children between the ages of one and six are cared for and supported. We work according to a "half-open" concept, which gives the children security and safety within their reference group, but also opportunities to meet and play with others throughout the house.
We are guided by the Hessian educational plan and the Reggio pedagogy, which sees each child as an individual, researcher, discoverer and constructor of his or her own development. Children bring with them a wealth of curiosity and motivation to learn. We see it as an essential task to use and develop this.
We work closely with parents and inform them regularly about the development and support of their child. This ensures a high level of transparency in our educational activities.
In three toddler groups and five kindergarten groups, our pedagogical specialists offer the handicapped and non-handicapped children extensive support and care. In addition, interns and employees in the voluntary social year work in the group service.
The bright, friendly new building has a wide range of rooms. In addition to the group rooms, the children can use various functional rooms (movement room, studio, library).
The light-flooded hallway connects the two wings and invites the children to ride in vehicles. The children particularly like the spacious play area, which is also located in the hallway. Not only the outdoor area, but also the proximity to the forest and the fields enable the children to experience nature in a variety of ways. A special highlight is our adventure pool, where children can splash around as they please. Siblings attending the facility receive a discount. Children who visit our facility over the lunch hour can receive a freshly prepared meal daily. Special needs (no pork, diabetic meals, pureed meals) are gladly considered individually.
