Introduction/specifics
In addition to a clearly structured daily routine, a “forest and nature kindergarten” offers children a lot of time for self-organized play without conventional toys, in and with nature. The diverse possibilities of experiencing oneself in nature as a self-effective being thus promote the child's confidence in their own abilities. Targeted educational offers on the subject of nature are also offered.
Children in the forest and nature kindergarten are primarily active children. They test themselves, climb, play, hide and literally run over stick and stone. Orientation and reaction skills, but also concentration and teamwork skills are promoted. Forest pedagogy has a supportive effect on the imagination and language development, because the children have to verbally exchange information about the importance of nature and what happens in the game, and awareness of how to deal with nature is strengthened.
In the forest and in nature, the children help each other, they learn together and overcome fears and "dangers". The time in the forest and nature kindergarten strengthens the immune system through being in nature and promotes social cohesion and the social skills of the children in a very special way.
