The Orstranderholung always takes place in the last week of the summer vacation. However, only the 1st of a month can be selected when making a request. Therefore, please always state September 1st when registering.
Since 1999, the Remshalden active playground has been used for recreation on the outskirts of the village. This all-day care offer is regularly carried out in the last week of the summer holidays with about 50 participants each. The offer is always fully booked early.
With the first recreation on the outskirts of the village, the municipality of Remshalden has entered the holiday care sector. In the following years, the offer was expanded to include half-day care services during the summer holidays, as well as during the Whitsun and Easter holidays.
As part of the recreation on the outskirts of the village, the team of full-time employees of the active playground and youth centre, together with volunteers, offers a week of fun and action on the grounds of the active playground in Grunbach at the end of the summer holidays, including catering for children between the ages of 6 and 12. The participating children receive breakfast, lunch and a varied programme every day.
The respective motto, which this week revolves around with offers from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., determines the handicrafts, crafts and games, stories and excursions that are offered.
The costs are 75 euros for the participation of one child, 70 euros per child for the participation of two children and 65 euros per child for the participation of three children.
