Pedagogical focus

  • Our religious educational profile
  • Our educational work is based on the situational approach
  • Co-determination of the children

And this is also important to us:

  • We see the child as an independent, active person with individual strengths and weaknesses and accept them in their uniqueness.
  • Every family is welcome here, regardless of origin, nationality or religion.
  • Like the daily routine, the weekly, monthly and annual structures are an integral part of our work. The activities give the children stability and orientation.
  • The children experience age-appropriate, cross-group and in-group educational activities.
  • Our team is characterized by the close cooperation in our house. We work across all groups. This means that there are many meeting points for the children and teachers from both groups. Everyone contributes their own strengths and talents.
  • Cooperation with parents is an important pillar of our work. Parents can openly express their wishes, ideas, expectations and criticisms at any time.
  • The cooperation between the teachers and the parish of St. Michael is characterized by an open, trusting and appreciative attitude.
  • Our kindergarten is embedded in a network of other institutions and groups.

Rooms

Functional rooms - experience areas

The kindergarten was built for two groups. The two group rooms are therefore of central importance. In addition, learning and activity rooms have been created in the corridor area and in the adjoining room.
In order to give the children as many development opportunities as possible in all areas of education and to cater to their different needs, all rooms are used differently and in a variety of ways.
There are in-group and cross-group activities for all areas of education that can be used by all children.

Outdoor Facilities

Outdoor play area

The outdoor area is another play area for the children. Once a day we go outside with all the children. All children from the 5th birthday are allowed to play alone in the garden during free play time. To this end, we first discuss with the children which rules they must follow.

Daily Schedule

A day in our kindergarten is divided into four sections:

1. free play
2. tidy-up time / morning circle
3. activity
4. time in the garden
5. pick-up phase

Food

Free breakfast

There is a free breakfast in our facility. Each child can decide between 7:00 and 10:30 a.m. when they want to eat and with whom they want to eat.

Eating together

Children who attend kindergarten until 14:00 have a second lunch box with them. These children eat together at 13:00.
