Introduction/specifics

The Rohrbronn kindergarten was built in 1970 and extended in 2022 to create additional places close to nature.

Our facility accepts children aged 2 - 6 years, who are cared for by educational staff and trainees in a partially open concept.

We see the child at the center of everything we do and attach great importance to a natural, creative, practical and needs-oriented education.

To ensure that the children feel at home in our kindergarten, we want to give them enough space and time...

In addition to the parental home, we will accompany the children individually, support them in partnership and provide targeted support.

Rooms

Our facility has the following rooms

• Entrance area with information corner for parents and checkroom
• A group room with reading corner, creative area, morning circle carpet
  as well as a doll's corner with rest area and second level
• Materials room with access area for children
• A group room with building and construction corners, creative table,
  experimentation area, reading corner, morning circle carpet

• Sanitary area with baby changing station
• office and recreation room 

Outdoor Facilities

We have a spacious, naturally landscaped garden area with mature trees...

Daily Schedule

For us, a regular, structured daily routine that remains the same throughout the week is very important in order to give the children a sense of security and safety through this reliability.                  

• Arrival, free play and open activities

• First pick-up time: Closing circle with farewell songs at 12.15 p.m.
• Second pick-up time: Closing circle with farewell songs at 1.00 p.m.
  
  During the course of the week, there is a pre-school meeting, a nature day and a tasty treat day for each group on set days. 

Food

In our daycare center, we eat together after the morning circle. 
Your child should bring a balanced and healthy snack from home.
Drinks such as water, sparkling water and unsweetened tea are provided.

Our basic pedagogical approach

We see our daycare center as a place of learning for children, with a focus on nature and creativity, and we work according to situation-oriented and practical approaches.

Every child has a natural interest in exploring and getting to know the world. We want to accompany and support them in this and provide an environment, mainly in nature, that meets this need. The child should be able to develop in its entirety and develop its own abilities and resources.

We see ourselves as a partner to the children. The primary focus of our educational work is on experiencing, learning and testing, with the aim of providing holistic, individual support. We attach great importance to learning in preparation for school rather than learning in advance of school.
