Introduction/specifics

Various care times are offered for working parents. 

There are three childcare models to choose from, there is the possibility of registering the children on 3 or 5 days. 

Model 1: 1 p.m. care (without lunch)

7.00 a.m. - 8.30 a.m. 

12.00 pm - 1.00 pm 

Model 2: 2 p.m. supervision (with lunch)

7.00 a.m. - 8.30 a.m. 

12.00 pm - 2.00 pm 

Model 3: 5 p.m. supervision (with lunch)

7.00 a.m. - 8.30 a.m. 

12.00 pm - 5.00 pm 

Registrations must be made for each school year.

Rooms

The children are cared for by our childcare staff in two different buildings.

The 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. group is located in the basement of the ballroom of the Geradstetten elementary school.

The 2 p.m. group will be supervised in the back of the Wilhelm-Enssle-Halle building.

The rooms in both buildings offer different opportunities for the children's leisure activities. These are, for example, football tables, building corners, a place to retreat and much more.

Daily Schedule

Before school starts, we start the day with the children from 7.00 a.m. In our premises, the children will find a variety of age-appropriate activities. The childcare staff accompanies the children during the care with appropriate offers.

Depending on the timetable, the children are released into class by the childcare staff on time.

After the end of lessons, the children are welcomed again in the respective groups. The care time can be arranged according to the individual needs of the children. 

Lunch of the 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. group will be taken together in the foyer of the Wilhelm-Enssle-Halle.

For children who are cared for until 5 p.m., there is the opportunity to do homework afterwards and spend their free time.

Food

Our food is freshly cooked daily and delivered by Diakonie Stetten. Depending on the menu, this contains meat or fish up to twice a week. A dessert is offered with every lunch. Mineral water is available to the children as a drink. The children are also offered fruit.

Basics

The basic principles of primary school childcare include the educational care and support of children of primary school age outside of regular school hours. This includes creating a safe environment, planning and implementing educational activities, promoting social skills, helping with homework, providing healthy meals for the children and working with parents and teachers. It is important that primary school childcare takes into account the individual needs and interests of the children and aims to promote holistic development.
