The day care centre was opened in August 1998. The building is reminiscent of a ship and offers the children plenty of space to play and discover. A beautiful forest and playgrounds are in the immediate vicinity.

The Kremenhollerstrasse Day Care Centre & Family Centre is located in the Kremenholl district of Remscheid, in the immediate vicinity of the Kremenholl Community Primary School.We are very easy to reach by public transport, e.g. bus line 660 and 670.
Very child is unique
Children who visit our facility carry a suitcase of individual experiences with them:
Feelings and emotions, their own language, self-education potentials, I-We feeling, elementary knowledge, their own environmental experiences and cultural and religious experiences.
We are a colourful diversity of small and large people who embark together on a journey of experience and discovery.

We achieve our goals through the holistic development of the children. In this context, the areas of self-social and professional competence are of particular importance to us.
As a municipal day care center, we pursue a professional socio-educational approach. In doing so, we take into account the current life situation and the respective stage of development of the children. We comply with the Act on Early Education and Support of Children, in short Kinder Bildungsgesetz (KiBiz) and the principles for educational support for children from 0 -10 years of the state of NRW and derive our goals from them.
We want to accompany, advise and strengthen parents in raising their children. In order to be able to guarantee this in the best possible way, we also work together with other institutions.
Furthermore, as a training centre, we are in exchange and contact with the vocational schools.
Parents, children and staff are a living part of Kremenholl, which is why we support the work of the district.
For many children, admission to the day care centre brings great changes. In order for the children to feel accepted in their personality, to develop well and to feel comfortable in our house, cooperation with all parents is very important to us. Our relationship with the parents is characterised by appreciation and respect. The educators are available to the parents for discussions about the development and upbringing of their child and accompany, advise and support them.
Since 2013, we have been a family centre and are therefore able to offer a wide range of activities. These include play and toddler groups, our parents' café, themed parents' evenings, a women's sports group, fathers' activities and much more.
