The Montessori Kinderhaus

Our Kinderhaus is located in the centre of Ravensburg´s old town with a beautiful large garden and tall old chestnut trees that provide plenty of shade in summer. Children have been here for almost 150 years and the Montessori gGmbH Ravensburg has been in charge for 30 years.

The diversity of Ravensburg`s children is reflected in the 5 klassrooms, which are spread over three floors, with a gym in the basement that is used regularly.

There is a small kitchen in each klassroom so that lunch can take place directly in a room that is familiar to the child.

Basics

Montessori education is an educational concept that is directly oriented to the child and consistently takes into account the needs & interests of the child.

Engage with the child in his or her current situation.

Recognize the child's personality and dignity.

Accepting the child as it is and not as it should be.
