Introduction/specifics

You can register your child for a place in a daycare facility in the Oedheim community area via the "information" form. You can name up to three preferred facilities in the "Information" field. Your request will be considered depending on the space available.

• 11 monthly contributions are charged.                                                             
• There is a family-related social scaling of contributions. This takes into account the number of children under 18 years in the family, as follows
• a) Children who have their main residence in the apartment.           
• b) temporary accommodation away from home for school and vocational training purposes taken into account if the child has a room available in the parents’ home and it returns regularly on weekends.                            
• c) children of separated parents who have joint custody, are usually assigned to the household in which they are predominantly stay. (Main residence)       
• d) In the case of foster children, only full-time children are taken into account.
• e) Children who are not part of the family household will be not taken into account if these children are paid for by the person living in the household Maintenance payments are made.                     
• For families with at least three children, in which no child has yet started school, the municipality will cover the parental contributions for children aged 3 and over up to the amount of care within the framework of the “extended opening hours”.
• Children where both parents, or in the case of single parents one parent, are employed or are looking for work (certificate from the job center) are given priority for full-day care . If you are employed, you must provide a certificate of the extent of your employment. Changes in the scope of employment must be reported.
• If there are changes in family circumstances (birth, child moving away, etc.), a written notification must be sent to the local authority. Kindergarten fees will then be adjusted on the first of the next month. Changes will be taken into account retroactively within 3 months.
• According to the Measles Protection Act, only children with adequate vaccination protection can be admitted to a facility. We would like to point out that we are obliged to report the lack of vaccination protection to the responsible health authority.
