Outdoor Facilities
I look after 5 children at the same time, currently aged 1 to 3 years; younger children are also very welcome.
My care times are currently Monday to Thursday 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
The times will change from August 2025. Monday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday 7.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The children should be in the group by 8.15 a.m. so that we can have breakfast together.
I attach great importance to a varied breakfast together. This always consists of fresh fruit depending on the season, rolls or bread, muesli, yoghurt or quark dishes, raw vegetables... There is mineral water and tea to drink. Before we eat, we sing our welcome song, which everyone will sing along to by heart over time.
After breakfast, there is usually free play and our morning circle until we go out or do activities within the facility such as. B. Craft activities according to the season, painting, kneading, reading aloud, baking cookies, etc. We celebrate all seasonal festivals, every birthday is duly celebrated with small gifts, muffins and singing.
We are outside every day if possible, walk in the Styrumer Allee, go to playgrounds, visit other childminders and their day children in the garden. We also go into town and enjoy an ice cream in the sun in the summer. The children should have fun and variety and enjoy playing with their friends at my place.
I cook either in the evening at home or in the morning before the first children arrive. Depending on the age of the children and their interests, some like to help and cut the vegetables or fruit. For this I have bought various knives that are well suited for children under three. I like to attend training courses on nutrition and have received various tips there on cooking with children and I like to put them into practice.
On Sundays I put together a meal plan, which I send to the parents.
I offer meat once a week, fish once a week, and vegetarian dishes on the other days.
Of course, I follow the parents' instructions and pay attention to any allergies.
After lunch, the children brush their teeth, wash their hands, go to the toilet, and change their diapers together, and then they are put down for a nap. Anyone who doesn't want to sleep any more can rest in the cave, which is provided with pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals. I like to put on a CD with quiet music or an audio play.
After sleeping or resting, there is a snack such as fruit, a quark dish, etc. and, depending on the time, we may go outside again or the children can play freely until they are picked up.
