Introduction/specifics

We are an eight-group facility with three nursery groups and five kindergarten groups.

Our kindergarten is located in the north-west of the Karlsruhe district in Baden-Württemberg, in the beautiful district of Oberhausen-Rheinhausen.

Directly behind the kindergarten are orchards, a bird park, an adventure playground, a riding arena and open fields. This gives us many opportunities to explore the surrounding area with the children and enjoy unforgettable experiences in nature!

We offer various childcare models:

GT = Full-day group for children aged 1-6:

7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Opening hours = Early group for children aged 1-6:

7:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

On Fridays, our facility is open until 1:45 p.m.

For the transition from kindergarten to elementary school, there is close cooperation with the Kastanienhof Elementary School in Oberhausen.

Rooms

Our rooms are tailored to the needs of children, are regularly redesigned, and equipped with new incentives. The children can move around freely in our premises, help to design them, and feel very comfortable.

Each group has its own group room. The large gym offers plenty of opportunities for all children to exercise. The hallway is also regularly redesigned and used for play. Our children enjoy meeting in the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch together. For targeted small group work, there is an intensive room with appropriate materials. Children can borrow a wide variety of books from our library.

Planning and retreat areas are also available for staff.

Outdoor Facilities

Spending time in nature has many positive effects on children's overall development. It enables sensory experiences that tend to take a back seat in everyday life.

Outdoors, children can also find peace and relaxation, in contrast to the sensory overload of everyday life.

The large, natural courtyard, adjacent to the adventure playground and the bird park, is a daily highlight for our children. Here, they can always play in a carefree and safe environment.

Basics

At our facility, we accept children as individuals with all their strengths and weaknesses and accompany them on an important part of their life journey. We offer children a wide range of learning experiences for holistic, situational, and individual development.

Our children are the focus of our work. Their needs largely determine our educational program. The children's opinions and thoughts are always taken into account in everyday life and are discussed in depth at regular children's conferences and parliament meetings. Our actions are guided by what our children need.

We live and experience the cycle of the year together with the children and incorporate it strongly into our educational work. Various activities, projects, excursions, and cross-group offerings with all their themes and the children's topics shape the kindergarten year.

Every day, we look forward to accompanying the children on their journey through life and making them strong for life. We want the children to feel comfortable with us and experience a safe and secure atmosphere.

Employee

Our team has been very stable for many years and enjoys a friendly and familiar working atmosphere. Joint events are always a lot of fun and are greatly appreciated by everyone. Many colleagues have found their place with us and are an integral part of the team. 

Working together in a positive atmosphere motivates us every day. The teamwork is very well coordinated. We appreciate the strengths of each individual and incorporate them into our daily work. Through joint training courses, we keep ourselves up to date and constantly optimize our work for the benefit of our children.

Overview

Please note:

• Children can only be registered for a place after birth. Visits to the facility will also only take place after the child's birth and by prior arrangement with the facility management.

• Children whose siblings are already enrolled in the facility will be given priority for placement.

• A prerequisite for placement is residency or registration in our municipality. Registration is also possible if you are planning to move to the municipality: Please fill in your current address on the registration form, select "Yes" in the "Planned Move" field, and enter your planned moving date.

• To increase your chances of securing your preferred childcare place, you can inquire at several facilities. To indicate your preference, you can assign a priority in the childcare information section of the inquiry form (e.g., Priority 1 = 1st choice). A maximum of three inquiries can be submitted simultaneously.
