Security information about the OpenSSL Heartbleed bug

Our server infrastructure did not use the vulnerable version OpenSSL at any time. A change of all user passwords and user certificates is not necessary. 

Preventative we exchanged all SSL certificates on out publicly accessible LITTLE BIRD servers. 

Regardless of the OpenSSL Heartbleed bug LITTLE BIRD recommends all users to change their password regularly. If you use the same password for varoius websites, you should change your password, because other sites could be affected by the OpenSSL Heartbleed bug.

The city of Aachen has made a movie for LITTLE BIRD users: step-by-step instructions - clearly arranged, explanatory and to the point.

The film clearly shows in three minutes functions, possibilities and options. Searching, finding, requesting seats – all this is no longer a problem in Aachen and in many other cities and municipalities– with the portal of LITTLE BIRD.

Parents in Aachen, have their own portal with its own design, which might look a little different than the original LITTLE BIRD portal. The functions, however, are almost identical and so, the film is also useful for parents in other LITTLE BIRD cities.

LITTLE BIRD goes "live" in Wolfsburg

In Wolfsburg, now parents can register their child online for a childcare place. With the new online portal:

Wolfsburg Bear and design come together with LITTLE BIRD software, know-how, experience and service.

Wolle Wolfsburg is the mascot of the campaign „Wolfsburg wird die Kinderstadt“. 2013, he won  the Award of the magazine politics & policy communication. Sure the city of Wolfsburg wanted the bear here, have the new online portal.

Wolle and the little bird get along well. In the future they will make together searching, finding and managing childcare places in Wolfsburg easy.
