Introduction/specifics

Welcome to our facility

Our facility offers a wide range of childcare services for children from nursery age to elementary school. We have a total of 2 nursery groups, 2 kindergarten groups, 2 after-school care groups, 3 after-school-care groups until 3 p.m., and one after-school-care group until 2 p.m.
We work according to a closed concept, in which each group has its own fixed framework and familiar caregivers. At the same time, we attach great importance to cross-group activities and projects that promote exchange, connect interests, and give the children new impulses.
This creates a lively place where children can grow, play, and learn at their own pace—accompanied by a dedicated team and a loving atmosphere.

If you would like to take a look at our facility, take a virtual tour and get to know us better!

Rooms

Our facility offers children an environment in which they can feel comfortable and develop their potential. Each room is individually furnished and reflects the needs and interests of the respective age group. With cozy retreats, creative play areas, and functional learning zones, we create an atmosphere that invites discovery, experimentation, and shared experiences.
Whether it's the building and role-play area, the reading corner, or the studio, our rooms promote independence, imagination, and community.

Outdoor Facilities

The outdoor areas of our facility offer children of all ages space to play, explore, and relax—tailored to their needs and developmental stages.

The nursery and kindergarten have two lovingly designed gardens at their disposal, which are separated from each other in an age-appropriate manner. This allows the youngest children to gain their first experiences of nature in a safe environment, while the older children can develop their motor skills on a variety of play equipment. And although the gardens are separate, there are always little visits – because getting to know each other and playing together promotes social interaction

.
Our schoolchildren use the adjacent schoolyard, which offers them plenty of space for exercise, ball games, and creative break activities.
Whether it's the sandbox, slide, or climbing frame – our outdoor area is a place where children can develop freely and experience nature with all their senses.

Food

A good day starts with a balanced breakfast – that's why our teachers prepare a varied and lovingly prepared breakfast in the kindergarten and nursery. We make sure that the breakfast is coordinated with the planned lunch so that the children receive a balanced diet throughout the day.

Lunch is delivered once a week by Apetito and reheated fresh on site every day. The children eat together in a pleasant atmosphere that promotes table manners and respectful interaction with one another – but without coercion: no child is forced to eat.T

he food on offer is varied and tailored to the needs and preferences of the children.

Please note: Participation in lunch is compulsory in nursery, kindergarten and after-school care. In afer-school care until 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m., however, eating is voluntary.

Basics

At our facility, we accompany children on their journey to becoming independent, self-confident individuals. We create a warm atmosphere in which every child can feel accepted and safe. We place great importance on social equality, interaction with peers, and the compatibility of family and career.
Our educational work is based on a situation-oriented approach. This means that we use everyday situations and experiences of the children to create meaningful learning processes. The children learn through their own actions, using all their senses and at their own individual pace.
We see ourselves as companions, guides, observers, and advocates for the children. Our goal is to promote the children's holistic development, stimulate their curiosity, and offer them space for extensive free play. In doing so, we ensure stable relationships with familiar caregivers and a respectful attitude toward each child's initiative.
This makes our facility a place of well-being, learning, and growth—today and for the future.

Teamwork with school

In their final year of kindergarten, we provide the children with intensive support as they prepare for school. Our active cooperation with Lußhardt School creates a trusting bridge between kindergarten and elementary school. The cooperation teacher visits the children in their familiar surroundings at kindergarten, and the children get to know the school during a joint visit.
The exchange continues even after the children start school: together with the teacher, we look back on the start of first grade and reflect on the children's experiences.
Currently, in close cooperation with the surrounding kindergartens and the Lußhardt School, a joint concept entitled “House of Small and Big Steps” is being developed. The aim is to make the transition from kindergarten to school even more conscious, coordinated, and child-friendly.

Teamwork with parents

Trusting and open cooperation with families is particularly important to us. At our facility, we see education as a joint task for parents and the educational team. Regular parents' evenings, joint celebrations, and events provide opportunities for exchange, interaction, and participation.
An integral part of our cooperation is the parents' council, with whom we work closely and in partnership. In this way, we create a lively community in which children, parents, and professionals alike feel comfortable and can contribute.

Projects

At our facility, we support children in their everyday lives and development with a wide range of projects.
The little explorers in the preschool year embark on exciting discovery tours through Neulußheim. This allows them to get to know their hometown in a playful way – from special places to local traditions.
In the last year of kindergarten, we prepare the rocket children specifically for the transition to school. In small groups, important skills are promoted that make the start of school easier – with joy, curiosity, and self-confidence.
A creative highlight is our studio, where creative activities take place on Tuesdays. Here, the children can let their imaginations run wild and try out different techniques.
In addition, we regularly organize special projects as part of festivals and celebrations in which the children actively participate – whether it's crafting, decorating, or preparing small performances.

Holiday Care

After-school care:
Children in after-school care are generally entitled to holiday care during all school holidays. The prerequisite is that three weeks of vacation are taken during the year – whether this is one continuous block or split into two weeks and one week is flexible. Parents must notify the school of these vacation periods in advance. In addition, before each vacation, parents are asked which children will actually be attending holiday care so that the school can plan accordingly.

After-school care until 2 p.m. or 3 p.m.:
For children after-school care until 2 p.m. or 3 p.m., holiday care can be booked at an additional cost. They are allowed to participate in care for three weeks during the summer holidays – the remaining three weeks are considered mandatory vacation time. Prior registration is required for the respective holidays.

The following applies to all children:
During the holidays, a communal breakfast is offered at an additional cost. In addition, we organize special activities and exciting excursions during the holiday period to ensure variety and enjoyable experiences.
