About Us

Kindertagesstätte Schatzinsel - Stadt Neu-Ulm

All children and families are warmly welcome in our facility.

Founded in 2010 as a kindergarten to meet local demand, our daycare center has expanded from one group to seven groups due to the increased need.

Our kindergarten is located in a former school, so our rooms consist of repurposed classrooms.

In addition, we have special areas for external services such as preparatory courses, speech therapy, and language development. These versatile rooms support our educational offerings and promote the children's development.

Our Focus

"These children are gemstones lying on the street. They just need to be picked up, and they will shine."
– Don Bosco

The primary focus of our educational work is the development of each child's personality, strengthening their social competence, and supporting their linguistic development.

Our pedagogical approach focuses on the individual development of each child. We strengthen social competence through targeted group activities that promote teamwork and empathy.

Additionally, we place great importance on language development by integrating creative language support activities and communication games into our daily routine.

In this way, we create an environment where children can confidently express themselves, discover their abilities, and grow within a social community.

What Makes Us Special

We offer loving care and support for children aged three to six in seven groups. Language development is especially important to us, and we integrate it intensively into our daily routine.

Our educational concept is based on the strengths and needs of the children. Through targeted impulses and projects, we support development in various areas of education.

Connection to nature is also important to us: With regular outings to nature, forest days, and daily outdoor activities, we promote both physical activity and environmental awareness in the children.

Another key aspect of our work is the active participation of the children in everyday life at the daycare. In children's conferences and through voting, they learn to express their opinions, make decisions, and develop social skills.

Intensive school preparation supports the children on their way to the next phase of life. With a diverse preschool program, mindfulness, and memory training, we ensure they are optimally prepared for school.
