Rooms
A Look Inside Our Facilities
The rooms let in plenty of light through large windows. In addition to the group rooms, there are functional spaces available. We have fixed base groups, while the functional rooms provide opportunities for cross-group activities.
Movement Room
To meet children’s natural need for movement, there is not only a beautifully designed garden but also indoor spaces for physical activity. The multipurpose room, which functions as a gym, can be used by all age groups.
Dining Hall
The dining hall is equipped with child-sized tables and chairs for the kindergarten groups. Our nursery children eat in their group rooms. Meals are taken together with the educational staff. A kitchen assistant is responsible for organizing the kitchen. A water dispenser is available. To ensure meals are served in a calm and low-stimulation environment, the welcoming room is fitted with a noise-reducing ceiling, among other features. Furniture and tableware support the children’s need for independence and self-determination, appropriate to their developmental stage.
Therapy Room
Individual and social skills can be strengthened through additional support and therapy offerings. Children can receive support individually or in small groups. The therapy room is designed to be calm and low-stimulation to aid concentration while providing all the necessary tools for comprehensive development. This space allows for highly individualized support, facilitating smooth integration into everyday life at the children’s center.
Locating therapy directly within the children’s center is very important to us in terms of inclusion. Children should not be separated but should participate in everyday life at the center. To make this participation as independent as possible, it is often necessary to provide targeted support in specific developmental areas. Trained staff plan this support based on the child’s individual development, in close collaboration with the family and the children’s center.
Rooms for Cross-Group Activities
In addition to the group rooms, various functional spaces are available, set up and used according to the children’s needs. For example, there is an art and creative room with a workbench and an additional building-corner room with a reading nook. These rooms also allow for small-group activities and provide a space to play and learn undisturbed.
Hallways
The hallways offer space for additional play and movement experiences.
