LIVING WITH CHILDREN
Welcome to our Protestant daycare center ARCHE...
Our kindergarten has 125 places for children approximately 3 to 6 years old. The children are divided into five mixed-age kindergarten groups. Our crèche can accommodate up to 14 children aged 1-3 years. We are located in one building, with the crèche on the first floor, shared with one of the five kindergarten groups.
Pedagogical features of our work include:
- Working according to the Bavarian Education and Training Plan
- A Montessori group
- Portfolio work as an essential component
- Settling in according to the Berlin Settling In Model/in the daycare center according to the Peer Group Model
- Opportunities to satisfy children's joy of movement and creativity in various functional spaces
- Adventure garden and sports field with diverse and challenging exercise options
- Forest week and Nature and Environment Day
- Annual focus on a topic in the area of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development)
- Educational partnerships with parents and families
- Regular development discussions with parents
- Exposure to Christian content based on the church year
- Active participation in church community events
What we offer:
- care for children aged 1-10 is available at our daycare center in the daycare center, kindergarten, and after-school care center (after-school care registrations can be made via our website; external children are not accepted)
- Lunch is freshly prepared for the children daily in our in-house kitchen
- The daycare center's adventure garden offers a variety of discovery and Testing Opportunities
- Networking with the local church community offers families many opportunities to establish roots in the neighborhood (weekend family retreats, festivals and church services, children's clothing bazaars, etc.)
Our opening hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
