Current information

The Bunte Umwelt daycare center is centrally located yet traffic-calmed in Nauen. The daycare center was newly opened and renovated by the provider "Bunte Umwelt gGmbH" in 2022. 98 children aged from one year to school entry can be cared for in our facility from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. We obtain our full meals from a regional food supplier who is committed to regional and wholesome cuisine. We take account of children with intolerances, allergies and religious eating habits. Our multicultural team consists of nursery teachers, childhood educators and supplementary staff. In accordance with our mission statement: "Children are the future", we meet them at eye level and in a needs-oriented manner and want to create spaces for and with them in which they can develop freely and safely. It is important to us to convey an awareness of nature, the environment and sustainability.

Rooms

The daycare center offers space for two crèche groups and four daycare groups in a spacious indoor area. Each crèche group has a separate bedroom and there are also plenty of opportunities for the daycare children to retreat. Our bright, light-flooded rooms are complemented by a spacious exercise room and various functional rooms in the daycare area. These are open at certain times for all children in the daycare center, so that the children can decide freely in which area they want to play and take part in activities. In addition, there are fixed groups and reference teachers. Our outdoor area with a separate crèche area invites children to play and run around. There are various sandpits, swings, a climbing frame and a track for our fast racers.

Daily Schedule

From 6:30 a.m., the children are welcomed to the morning service and have breakfast at 8:00 a.m. From 8:30 a.m., the children split up into their groups and start the subsequent play and activity time with a morning circle. This is where activities in the areas of sport, art, mathematics & science and music take place. Lunch time in the groups begins at 11:00. From 12:00 - 14:00 we offer a nap time. We spend the afternoons with free play, mostly outside in the garden, and have an afternoon snack at 2:00 pm. Pick-up time takes place from 2:30 pm until the facility closes at 4:30 pm.
